The Challenge
What was the problem?
The job was to move 50+ courses from Articulate Rise 360 into Canvas LMS. Every course had pages, quizzes, interactives, and file attachments that had to work the same way after the move.
The Solution
The approach
I reverse-engineered the Rise 360 export, pulled the content types we needed, and rebuilt them in Canvas through the API. The migration tool runs on Bun.

Mapped the Rise 360 export structure.
Extraction
Parsed pages, quizzes, interactives, and attachments.
Transformation
Mapped each type into a Canvas-safe shape.
Migration
Uploaded through the Canvas API with checks before calling it done.
