The Challenge
What was the problem?
Labor and delivery nurses needed a fast, private way to track the births they assist with. Existing options were slow, asked for personal patient data, or ignored how a busy hospital floor actually works.
The Solution
The approach
I built a mobile app with Expo and React Native so a birth can be logged in under five seconds. The workflow came from direct input from my wife, a labor and delivery nurse. The app is anonymous — no patient data is stored.
